It has three difficulty options, with each being designed so that a wider variety of players can enjoy it, unlike a typical Soulslike game. Story Mode is best for those who want to play through the narrative without finding combat too challenging. Parry timing is more forgiving, and enemies deal less damage. You'll still need to engage with the combat, but you'll be punished far less for any mistakes you make. If you're playing this for the Game Freak name rather than a passion for a challenging RPG, opt for Story Mode.
