Reinstated Subnautica 2 Dev Says Krafton's Release Date Announcement Was Potentially "Damaging" https://ift.tt/ODnSQ6G It's become a recurring theme, but the legal drama between the leaders of Subnautica 2 developer Unknown Worlds and its parent company Krafton isn't over. Lawyers for the reinstated CEO Ted Gill and founders Charlie Cleveland, and Max McGuire say Krafton set Subnautica 2's early access release without consulting them. According to Game File , the legal team for Gill, Cleveland, and McGuire filed a complaint with the court alleging that Krafton's announcement potentially damaged "the game and [sowed] additional confusion among the Subnautica community." The letter to the court goes on to note that Unknown Worlds studio head Steve Papoutsis had no authority to make the Subnautica 2 early-release announcement because it came after Gill was reinstated to his CEO position following a recent ruling. Polyphony Digital has announced that new content will be coming to Gran Turismo 7 as a part of the 1.29 update. The latest update introduces VR mode for PlayStation 5 players, new modes, new drivable cars, and more.

Thanks to a PlayStation Blog, we know that PlayStation 5 players who own a PS VR2 can access a new area called the VR Showroom from their garage or other in-game car dealerships. With the PS VR 2, players can see the HDR tone mapping and use a new eye-tracking feature that renders areas of the screen that they're looking at. In addition to that, PS VR 2 will also support dynamic 3D audio for a more immersive experience.

The update will also introduce Sophy Race Together limited-time mode that'll only be available for PlayStation 5 users. This mode will be available from February 21 to the end of March, and in it, players will race against the GT Sophy in a series of four circuits. Players can also race against the GT Sophy in a 1VS1 mode, where they'll be driving against the AI in another GT Sophy with the same stats.
