Nintendo Switch 2 Is Still Outpacing The Original Switch By Millions https://ift.tt/1CQKzbN Nintendo has posted its latest quarterly financial results--ranging from April 1 to June 30--and while the Switch 2 continues to be the company's fastest-selling system, sales have dropped considerably in the last three months. Overall, Nintendo's operating profit increased 150.5% thanks to higher software revenue and $300 million in US tariff refunds that won't be passed on to consumers . A total of 3.82 million Switch 2 consoles were sold during this period, a steep drop compared to the same period last year when Nintendo sold 5.82 million units during the June 2025 launch. That figure is understandable, as the Switch 2 arrived with plenty of hype and demand behind it, fueling sales at the time and setting several new records for Nintendo.
