New PS5 Update Is Out Now, Makes Reading Easier https://ift.tt/cRAbqGT A new firmware update for PS5 consoles has been released, and as usual, it's not much to write home about. PS5 update version: 26.04-13.60.00 once again keeps things simple, offering a very incremental enhancement to the Sony-produced hardware. "We've improved the messages and usability on some screens," the extremely brief update notes read. The last major PS5 update was focused on the PS5 Pro, as it introduced an upgraded version of PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) for owners of the beefier machine. Beyond that, we've seen an improved Friends Activity widget, the option to check your PS5 console serial number, and a power saver mode added in older firmware updates alongside the usual rounds of stability improvements. Amazon has released its list of new originals, TV shows, and movies streaming on Prime Video this May, joining a long list of content already available. Here's what's new through the month of May.

David Harbour's unconventional (and surprisingly successful) Christmas action-horror Violent Night is joining Prime Video's library this month from May 26. Promoted as a kind of mix between Die Hard and Home Alone, Violent Night sees an elite group of mercenaries break into a manion on Christmas Eve to hold the weathy family hostage, only to come up against an unlikely adversary--Santa Claus.

Prime Video has also added a sneaky late addition to April's lineup with The Accountant, which will be streaming from April 27. The 2016 action thriller follows Ben Affleck as a crooked forensic accountant whose criminal associations are quickly catching up with him.
