Two of them will be familiar to Diablo 3 fans: the Monk and Demon Hunter. The third will be an all-new class, the Plague Knight. The Plague Knight sounds similar to Death Knights from Blizzard's other fantasy franchise and are described as "walking death" that spread disease and pestilence wherever they go, then consume it to increase their power. Blizzard revealed plenty of new details about Diablo 5 during a panel and subsequent blog post following the game's cinematic reveal as part of the BlizzCon 2026 opening ceremony .
