Resident Evil Could Have Its Biggest Opening Weekend Ever With Its New Movie https://ift.tt/kavV1jp Weapons director Zach Cregger's Resident Evil movie hits theaters on September 17, and analysts predict it will set a record for the franchise. While the majority of the live-action movies turned a decent profit off of a relatively small budget, Cregger's take on the IP is currently projected to have the best opening weekend by a comfortable margin. That's according to the official publication of the National Association of Theater Owners, Box Office Pro. The survival-horror movie is predicted to bring in between $40 and $50 million in its North American opening weekend, which would be almost double Resident Evil: Afterlife's $26.6 million weekend from way back in 2010. The LG G3 OLED Evo 4K smart TV runs on webOS 23, which supports virtually every major streaming app. It's also a great option for gaming thanks to its four HDMI 2.1 ports, 120Hz refresh rate, and low 0.1ms input latency. It also supports Dolby Vision HDR for video content and variable refresh rate (VRR) for gaming via Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync, and features a built-in Game Optimizer mode and Game Dashboard.
