Best Weapons In Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty - Iconic Weapon Locations https://ift.tt/zFZ7k4N

You'll have more toys to play with in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. The expansion adds a new district and an espionage-themed storyline. Along the way, you can obtain more gear pieces for your character, some of which have powerful modifiers and unique effects. Our Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty iconic weapons guide discusses the armaments that we've found by completing main quests and side gigs in Dogtown. Likewise, please be reminded that this article contains spoilers.

For our Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty iconic weapons guide, we list the equipment starting with those that we obtained from the Black Market Vendor, as these are new items added as part of Update 2.0. These are followed by rewards from main quests, and lastly, those from side quests, gigs, or general exploration. It's also worth noting that the airdrops in Dogtown can sometimes yield iconic-tier items, but the ones we've found are cyberware implants, not actual weapons.

Moreover, you'll want to take note of the best skills and perks due to the overhauls from Update 2.0, since your chosen perks should complement your playstyle and preferred loadout.

Order

Location: Black Market Vendor - Once you start the expansion's campaign, you'll head to the district of Dogtown, eventually arriving at the EBM Petrochem Stadium. There, you'll see a lot of vendor stalls, one of which is owned by the Black Market Vendor. This NPC sells many iconic weapons from the base game, which you might have missed. Since the wares refresh periodically, you can wait for 24 hours to elapse to check if the vendor is selling additional goodies.

One particular Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty iconic weapon that we've seen is the Order shotgun:

  • Type: Tech Double-Barrel Shotgun
  • Modifiers: +50% headshot damage; +100% armor penetration; 3 seconds charge time; +10% shock chance; 14 projectiles
  • Perks: Can be charged from hip-fire; charge this weapon above 66% to vaporize all enemies in your path, leaving an EMP trail behind it.

Carmen

Location: Black Market Vendor - Similar to the above, this can be purchased from the Black Market Vendor. It costs 99,540 credits.

  • Type: Power Assault Rifle
  • Modifiers: +100% headshot damage; +50% armor penetration
  • Perks: Shots to limbs have increased crit chance; running, jumping, or sliding improves weapon handling, damage, and bleeding application.

Errata

Location: Black Market Vendor - Similar to the above, this can be purchased from the Black Market Vendor. It costs 110,638 credits.

  • Type: Katana
  • Modifiers: +25% armor penetration; +30% burn chance.
  • Perks: This is the iconic version of the Thermal Katana, a weapon that can apply the burning status effect. It allows you to leap toward enemies, and attacking burning targets guarantees crit damage.

Nehan

Location: Black Market Vendor - Similar to the above, this can be purchased from the Black Market Vendor. It costs 110,638 credits.

  • Type: Knife
  • Modifiers: +150% headshot damage; +30% bleeding chance
  • Perks: Thrown hits apply bleeding; if the target is already afflicted with bleed damage from the Satori iconic weapon, Nehan will instead cause hemorrhage. The hemorrhage debuff drains an enemy's health while regenerating yours.

Hawk

Mission: Lucretia My Reflection - This is the weapon that Myers is wielding when you meet her during the expansion's main quest. Once she and Reed leave the hideout, you should spot it leaning against the stash box.

  • Type: Power Assault Rifle
  • Modifiers: +175% headshot damage; +25% armor penetration
  • Perks: Headshots temporarily weaken and mark enemies; weakened enemies move slower, are unable to use abilities, deal less damage, and are prone to losing their balance.

Gris-Gris

Mission: The Damned - Once you enter the facility, you'll notice a door with a graffiti of a person with a skull face. Open it and check the contents of the briefcase.

  • Type: Tech Revolver
  • Modifiers: +150% headshot damage; +50% armor penetration; 0.75 seconds charge time
  • Perks: Fires in full auto when fully charged; each hit with this weapon has a chance to upload a random quickhack to an enemy. The stronger the quickhack, the lower the upload chance.

Her Majesty

Mission: Get It Together - Open the weapon box once you reach the armory below The Moth.

  • Type: Power Pistol
  • Modifiers: +150% headshot damage
  • Perks: This weapon has its own unique silencer. Also, while Optical Camo is active, this weapon gains perfect accuracy, guaranteed headshot crits, and increased damage.

Rasetsu

Mission: You Know My Name - Later in the mission, you'll take control of a sniper turret. You'll pick off enemies and traps as Reed makes his way across the area. You'll then receive this Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty iconic weapon after this sequence.

  • Type: Tech Sniper Rifle
  • Modifiers: +300% headshot damage; +50% armor penetration; 1.5 seconds charge time
  • Perks: Charged shots penetrate through enemies and obstacles; will bend their trajectory to hit multiple enemies simultaneously.

Bald Eagle

Mission: Firestarter - When prompted with a decision during the Firestarter mission, choose to help Reed capture Songbird. Once you reach the stadium's exit, Colonel Hansen will appear. He'll drop this, along with other iconic weapons, once you kill him.

  • Type: Power Revolver
  • Modifiers: +250% headshot damage modifier; +75% armor penetration
  • Perks: Fires explosive rounds; after throwing the iconic Fang knife into an enemy's leg, shoot that same leg to shred it to pieces, returning Fang to your hand. This is effective against moving targets.

Wild Dog

Mission: Firestarter - Similar to the above, this Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty iconic weapon is also dropped by Colonel Hansen. You can fight him if you help Reed capture Songbird.

  • Type: Power Light Machine Gun
  • Modifiers: +85% headshot damage multiplier; +25% armor penetration
  • Perks: Repeated hits increase fire rate and crit chance; quick melee hits deal massive damage when ammo is empty.

Fang

Mission: Firestarter - This is also another iconic weapon dropped by Colonel Hansen. Specifically, it's the knife that he keeps throwing during the battle. Once his HP has been depleted, you can finish him off with this knife, and it will appear in your inventory. As an aside, it seems to be different from another iconic weapon known as the Blue Fang.

  • Type: Knife
  • Modifiers: +50% headshot damage; +30% bleeding chance
  • Perks: Thrown hits cripple the target; repeated attacks in close combat increase damage.

Murphy's Law

Mission: Firestarter - When prompted with a decision, choose to help Songbird escape instead of capturing her. Shortly thereafter, you'll be able to retrieve your equipment from the locker. Then, as the two of you are blasting Hansen's goons in the next area, one of his lieutenants should drop this item.

  • Type: One-handed Club
  • Modifiers: +50% armor penetration; 1-second charge time; +20% bleeding, stun, and shock chance
  • Perks: Hits against knocked down enemies increase your attack speed; strong attacks deal more damage.

Crowbar

Mission: Somewhat Damaged - This finale arc becomes available only if you help Reed capture Songbird in Firestarter. Later, after you've taken out the MaxTac soldiers, you'll chase after Songbird, who'll crash her vehicle through a wall. Follow the path leading deeper into the ruins until you force open a gate that leads to a room with turbines/generators. Check the back-right corner of the walkway to find this weapon.

  • Type: One-handed Club
  • Modifiers: +25% armor penetration; +20% stun chance
  • Perks: None - It seems it's just a trusty crowbar. (You probably won't encounter headcrabs, eh, Gordon?)

Erebus

Mission: Somewhat Damaged and This Corrosion - You'll find the blueprints for the Erebus and Militech Canto Mk.6 in the deeper levels of the Cynosure facility, all while a deadly robot is chasing you. After the expansion campaign, you'll receive a quest called This Corrosion, which nets you the component so you can craft either of the two. You can learn more in our Blackwall quickhack and Erebus guide.

  • Type: Power Submachine Gun
  • Modifiers: +100% headshot damage; +25% armor penetration
  • Perks: Rounds fired from this weapon are infused with dark energy from beyond the Blackwall; effective against enemies with low health.

Don't holster your weapon. Instead, keep talking to that person until you have no other choice but to draw your firearm. Shoot them dead, and you'll be able to pick up this armament. You can learn more about this quest in our Phantom Liberty endings guide.

  • Type: Tech Pistol
  • Modifiers: +150% headshot damage; +50% armor penetration; 0.75 seconds charge time
  • Perks: Charged shots fire three rounds at once; each projectile deals full damage.

Ogou

Gig: Treating Symptoms - Inside the facility, you'll have to battle several robots, including the Robot R MK2 boss. Defeat it and pick this up from its wreckage.

  • Type: Smart Pistol
  • Modifiers: +50% headshot damage; +25% armor penetration; 1.2 seconds lock-on time; +50% crit damage
  • Perks: Fires a burst of two explosive rounds, with a higher chance of dismemberment; each dismemberment increases the weapon's crit chance and bleeding application.

Agaou

Gig: N/A - The Biotechnica annex is right beside the building where the Treating Symptoms gig takes place. However, you're not required to go here as part of the objective. Still, you can visit this location anytime you want. Beat the boss named Ayo Zarin to obtain this weapon. Note that this facility also has a Relic Terminal.

  • Type: Axe
  • Modifiers: +125% headshot damage; +25% armor penetration; +30% shock chance
  • Perks: Critical hits with throws emit a shockwave that damages multiple enemies.

  • Type: Machete
  • Modifiers: +25% armor penetration; +33% burn chance
  • Perks: Has a chance to inflict a burn effect on your target; shots made against this target always deal critical damage; the more enemies are afflicted by the burn effect, the higher the crit damage you deal, but at the cost of firearm accuracy.

Rosco

Gig: Waiting For Dodger - A fella by the name of Dodger will confront you in the garage. Take him out to acquire this item.

  • Type: Power Revolver
  • Modifiers: +150% headshot damage; +25% armor penetration; +50% crit damage
  • Perks: Shoot the enemy first in the leg, then the head to immediately neutralize them (also yields +10 style points); headshots against enemies lying on the ground always deal crit damage.

Mancinella

Job: Run This Town - This job becomes available well after completing Firestarter and the expansion's main quest chain. Due to the death of Colonel Hansen, you'll have to decide who gets to be Dogtown's new leader. As for this weapon, it's given to you by Mr. Hands at the start of this mission.

  • Type: Power Revolver
  • Modifiers: +200% headshot damage; +25% armor penetration
  • Perks: Headshots have a chance to apply poison. After entering combat, your stealth bonus remains momentarily active.
