Game director Koshi Nakanishi broke the news, confirming that a photo mode will be added to the game in the near future, and in May, a minigame will also appear in Resident Evil Requiem. Like previous mainline Resident Evil games, Resident Evil Requiem will also receive a story expansion in the future. Nakanishi teased that the expansion will "delve deeper into the world of Requiem," and it's now in development. The developer also made a few jokes related to ongoing Resident Evil Requiem discourse, including a cheeky tease of a game focused on revealing who the co-protagonist Leon S.
