Announced, Delayed, Disappeared: The Games Still In Limbo

Announced, Delayed, Disappeared: The Games Still In Limbo https://ift.tt/js6RUQv The days of relatively short development cycles for big-budget AAA games feels like a distant memory, as it's not uncommon for titles to spend many years in development. These days, a five-year production cycle isn't uncommon at all, and some games take the better part of a decade to be released. Such lengthy waits aren't intrinsically bad, as games like Crimson Desert and Doom 2016 were worth the wait. But right now? Numerous studios have been toiling away on their respective projects, keeping out of the spotlight and offering little to no updates along the way. Some of them have undergone drastic overhauls behind the scenes, and others were announced way too early with slick teaser trailers that were designed to excite fans and recruit people to the project. There's a good chance that you might have forgotten about many of the games below, but if you're looking to refresh your memor...

Target Circle Week Sale Is Live Ahead Of Prime Day - Check Out The Best Deals

Target Circle Week Sale Is Live Ahead Of Prime Day - Check Out The Best Deals https://ift.tt/wTbuO4a

Target has kicked off its latest Circle Week sale ahead of Amazon's Big Deal Days (Prime Day Round 2) sale next week. Target Circle Week runs until October 7 and features some impressive discounts on a wide variety of games, hardware for content creators, and a slew of electronics from big brands like Apple.

To take advantage of the deals, you'll need to fulfill two easy tasks. First off, you'll need to be a Target Circle member, the retailer's free rewards program. Secondly, when you see a deal, you'll want to click "save " on those specials (either from the site's offer page or the listing) so that you can get the discount. There's no limit to how many of these items you can bookmark. New deals will be added every day as well, so you'll want to check in often to see the refreshed stock during this promotion.

As for the specials, we've rounded up some of the noteworthy items of interest below. If you're looking to score some games at way below their usual MSRP, then you've got plenty to pick from. There's gridiron action in Madden NFL 24 for just $49 (normally $70); Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a fun adventure across the cosmos at its special price of $40 (normally $70); and you can tee off with PGA Tour 2K23 for just $25 (normally $40).

There are some especially good deals for Nintendo Switch games here, as first-party titles like Kirby and the Forgotten Land, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, and Mario Strikers: Battle League have all been marked down to around $40 each. If you're looking to pick up a new gaming console, then you can start gaming out of the box with a free $70 game with the purchase of an Xbox Series X.

For electronics, there are also some noteworthy specials on gaming laptops available. Two Lenovo-branded gaming notebooks are available, and these are rock-solid devices for gaming on the go with their included specs. You can save over $200 on each of them, which makes these devices a good option for not just gaming, but other content creation and workhorse functions as well. Then there are some of the other luxury items available which have a more consumer-friendly price-tag attached to them.

Books and movies--of which Target has over 20,000 eligible items in stock--have been discounted by 20%; you can save up to 50% off the price of refurbished gear; and you can save up to $175 on some sought-after Apple products. We've rounded up the gaming, entertainment, and tech highlights in Target Circle Week below. Amazon is matching some of these offers, so we've included links to that retailer in those cases.
