In the US, PlayStation fans will have another chance to buy the 30th Anniversary DualSense Controller for PS5 starting July 21 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET at PlayStation Direct. Controllers purchased during this restock are considered preorders with a release date of September 9. Preorder at PS Direct It appears that PlayStation Plus subscribers will have early access to the restock before it opens up to the general public. In any case, like previous 30th Anniversary restocks--the last one was in January--expect units to sell out fast. After revealing the nominees earlier this month, Apple has announced the winners of the App Store Awards for 2023. Fourteen winners across 10 categories have been decided, and among them are some of 2023's best game releases.

Lies of P--the action-RPG from Neowiz that puts players in the role of Pinocchio in a Bloodborne-esque Victorian world--received the Mac Game of the Year award. It was chosen over fellow nominees Elex II and Return To Monkey Island.

Honkai: Star Rail--which also won multiple Google Play Best Of 2023 awards--was selected as the iPhone Game of the Year. Hoyoverse's sci-fi MMO took home the honor over Vampire Survivors and Afterplace.
