New The Sims 4 Expansion Brings Vacation Getaways And Imaginary Friends https://ift.tt/pmNB2Cb The world of The Sims 4 is about to get bigger again with the upcoming expansion pack Adventure Awaits. And while tropical getaways and summer camp experiences are the focus of this pack, it's also bringing back imaginary friends from The Sims 3. You can see one of the imaginary friends in the first trailer for Adventure Awaits, as well as an extended glimpse at your Sims vacation options. Adventure Awaits doesn't just cater to adult sims. Child sims are also given the chance to have formative moments as they discover archery, diving, papercraft, and other camp activities. As for the imaginary friends, they will appear as four different dolls with a handful of personality types: Goofball, creative, competitive, and evil. After incidents involving unauthorized people appearing on stage to disrupt proceedings at Geoff Keighley-produced shows, The Game Awards will see its security tightened up for this year's event. Keighley, the host and producer of The Game Awards, was asked in a Twitch Q&A livestream if there would be any increased security measures for the show, and he explained that plans were in place to prevent yet another stage invasion.

"We don’t want to talk about that stuff too publicly, just because it’s security," Keighley said (via VGC). "We definitely have plans and we're trying to do all we can to keep me safe, but also everyone watching the show, the audience, people participating in the show and everything. It's certainly something we're thinking about. We appreciate the concern. Believe me, that's something that is top of mind for us, but we also want to put on a great show that celebrates these games, and celebrates our love of video games, so that's an important thing to keep in mind as well. But yeah, I appreciate the concern around that."
