Microsoft's official Xbox wireless controllers are on sale for steep discounts for Black Friday 2023. Major retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target, are selling Xbox controllers for up to $30 off. The deals even include several of the cool special-edition controllers. You may want to move fast, as retailers are already starting to sell out of select models.
Microsoft's controllers rarely see discounts of more than $10 outside of major sales events like Black Friday, so these deals are quite good. Select models are available for as low as $40. At that price, you can grab the special-edition Stellar Shift at Best Buy as well as the standard Carbon Black (at Amazon) and Robot White models. Other controllers, including three more special editions and the recently released Astral Purple controller, are on sale for $45.

Aside from all the standard Xbox controllers on sale, the premium Elite Series 2 is also seeing a slight discount. Consider picking it up if you want a gamepad with tons of customization options, such as swappable thumbsticks, paddles, and D-pads. Meanwhile, the Elite Series 2 Core, which is the same high-end controller without the swappable components, is available for as low as $96 (red).
