Outgunned and caught by surprise, it's up to Marcus Fenix to rally the survivors and turn the tide of the conflict. The Saw franchise will continue with an 11th mainline installment, Lionsgate has announced. Saw XI has been confirmed and will debut on September 27, 2024, the film studio announced on social media. "The game continues," Lionsgate said.

The confirmation of the next Saw movie comes not long after Saw X debuted at the end of September and was a fast success. It brought in more than $107 million against a modest budget of $13 million, so it's no surprise to see another sequel get greenlit.

Saw X director Kevin Greutert told The Hollywood Reporter that Saw X was meant to be a "final send-off" for the Jigsaw character. However, Greutert said he had a "never say never" attitude about bringing him back.
