Dune 3 May Be Coming Out In 2026, Next Monsterverse Movie Gets 2027 Release Date

Dune 3 May Be Coming Out In 2026, Next Monsterverse Movie Gets 2027 Release Date https://ift.tt/UZ6tOmM Although nothing has been officially confirmed, it's starting to look like Denis Villeneuve's Dune 3 may hit the big screen in December of 2026, and a new MonsterVerse movie is being slated for 2027. Thanks to a Deadline report , we know that Warner Bros and Legendary Entertainment are securing a December 2026 date for Villeneuve in hopes that it'll be for Dune 3. But it's worth mentioning that Villeneuve is still working on the script and locking in talent for the series' third installment. That being said, Villeneuve has previously said that Dune 3 would be his last film in the series. This isn't the only upcoming collaboration between the director and the film company; Villeneuve will also partner with Legendary Entertainment on Nuclear War: A Scenario, which is based on a book detailing what would happen if a nuclear war were to break out. Dragon's Dogma 2 - Where To Find More Portcrystals

Dragon's Dogma 2 - Where To Find More Portcrystals https://ift.tt/NJZlLno

Exploring the wide world of Dragon's Dogma 2 can be quite a pain. One minute you're riding an oxcart to your destination, and the next it's destroyed by a rampaging Ogre. As such, it's important to take note of teleporters that can instantaneously spawn you to your destination. Here's our guide on where to find more Portcrystals in Dragon's Dogma 2. We also talk about the best locations where you should place your reusable Portcrystals. Lastly, please be reminded that this article contains minor spoilers.

Where to find more Portcrystals in Dragon's Dogma 2

Portcrystals in Dragon's Dogma 2 act as the game's fast travel mechanic. There are permanent fixtures that are in certain settlements, and there are reusable ones that you can carry in your inventory. If you have a reusable Portcrystal, you can place it at any outdoor location. Once you no longer need to return to that location, just pick it back up and set it somewhere else.

Note that both permanent and reusable Portcrystals require Ferrystones, which can come from a few treasure chests, certain quest rewards, or vendors. Ferrystones tend to cost around 10,000 gold and, if the merchant no longer carries one in stock, you have to wait for a couple of days to pass for them to restock their wares.

Permanent Portcrystal locations: Vernworth and Harve Village

There are only two permanent Portcrystals in Dragon's Dogma 2:

  • Vernworth - Next to the inn.
  • Harve Village - Outside a hut by the pier at the back; close to Stormwind Cave.

To clarify: there's no permanent Portcrystal in Bakbattahl or other notable locations. However, you will notice three additional permanent Portcrystals much later in the game if you choose to seek the true ending. This means that, for most of the campaign, you will have to acquire reusable Portcrystals as you progress.

Reusable Portcrystal #1: Feast of Deception

Feast of Deception is the last objective in the main quest chain given to you by Commander Brant in Vernworth. You should receive this task upon completing several missions, such as The Caged Magistrate, Nameless Village, The Stolen Throne, and others.

Brant wants you to attend your coronation as the Sovran, but you need to wear clothes fit for the occasion. You can simply wear the Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches that you got from The Stolen Throne quest (or other nobles' houses) to proceed. After the cutscene, wait/sleep for a couple of days and talk to Brant once more to obtain this Portcrystal.

Important: As noted in our Ulrika romance guide, we were unable to trigger the Readvent of Calamity quest (and the arc that follows it) in any backup save where we had already completed Feast of Deception. You might want to tackle these objectives first prior to attending the coronation with Brant.

Reusable Portcrystal #2: A Trial of Archery

You'll meet an elf named Glyndwr in Vernworth's marketplace, and he wants your help with the trials he's about to undertake. This leads to a quest chain where you eventually reach the settlement of the Elves. Upon finishing the request, you'll receive another Portcrystal, as well as the ultimate technique for the Archer class. You can learn more in our Sacred Arbor guide.

Reusable Portcrystal #3 and 4: Sphinx Riddle of Madness and Riddle of Conviction

You can acquire not one but two Portcrystals in Dragon's Dogma 2 if you play your cards right when solving the Sphinx's riddles. Here's how:

  • Upon meeting the Sphinx, you'll notice a set of riddles. Make sure you choose Riddle of Madness before Riddle of Conviction.
  • The Riddle of Madness requires placing your main pawn on the dais. The Sphinx will agree with your choice, and you'll be able to open a chest that has a Portcrystal.
  • Then, in the Riddle of Conviction, you need to select any item from your inventory. Whatever you choose will get duplicated, so pick a Portcrystal to gain an additional one.

Be sure to check our Sphinx riddles guide. We have all the solutions, rewards, and tips to prepare you for the challenges ahead.

Reusable Portcrystal #5: The Dragonforged

Much later in the campaign when you're doing the Flickering Shadows quest, you'll be asked to speak with the Oracle and the Dragonforged. The Dragonforged lives in a cave nearby, and he sells several items in exchange for Wyrmslife Crystals (WLC):

  • Ferrystone: Costs 3 WLC
  • Portcrystal: Costs 20 WLC
  • Unmaking Arrow: Costs 8 WLC

Can you duplicate your Portcrystals and Ferrystones?

There's an NPC named Ibrahim in Checkpoint Rest Town, and his Scrap Shop allows you to create forgeries of your items. Because this mechanic is quite useful for certain quests, such as Spellbound/Sorcerer's Appraisal, you might think that it's a good idea to duplicate your Portcrystals and Ferrystones.

But here's the thing: these forgeries/fake items won't actually work. You can't place down a "Partcrystal" from your inventory. Similarly, if you use a "Ferristone," it will simply fall on the ground like a useless rock. As such, you're limited to just a select few (authentic) reusable Portcrystals in Dragon's Dogma 2.

Where should you place reusable Portcrystals?

Given the limited number of reusable Portcrystals in Dragon's Dogma 2, it's a good idea to consider where you ought to place them. Here are our suggestions based on our playthrough:

  • Bakbattahl - This is the most obvious choice given that Bakbattahl is the capital of the southern region, and there's no Portcrystal in the city. You'll have no choice but to ride two oxcarts from Vernworth to Bakbattahl, and you'll be lucky if the vehicle isn't attacked or destroyed along the way.
  • Sacred Arbor - You'll return to the Sacred Arbor a few times when helping out the elven characters. As such, it's a good idea to leave a Portcrystal here.
  • Sphinx shrines - You have to solve the Sphinx's riddles in two shrines. Place one Portcrystal at the first shrine until you're done with the challenges there. Then, when the Sphinx flies to the second shrine, pick up the Portcrystal, move to the new location, and place it there, as well.
  • Agamen Volcanic Island - There are a few points of interest in Agamen Volcanic Island. You might even encounter two Maisters/master trainers in the region.

In any case, these are the Dragon's Dogma 2 Portcrystal locations. Fast travel, as a whole, can be somewhat frustrating due to random mishaps that occur. Still, we hope you enjoy exploring the world.
