And by "play as Godzilla," I mean you will be taller than the tallest building in Seaport City, and will have the ability to crush every building and build on the map by stepping on it or firing off Godzilla's laser breath. It's similar to how the playable Doctor Doom worked during Chapter 5 Season 4, except you'll be even taller than the giant Doom was. Marvel's upcoming Fantastic Four reboot has added its first cast member since the title characters were cast in February. Deadline is reporting that Julia Garner will play Silver Surfer in The Fantastic Four. The character is traditionally portrayed as a man, Norrin Radd, who offered to become the herald of Galactus if the world-devourer spared his home world, Zenn-La. In the MCU, Norrin's lover, Shalla-Bal, will be the one who struck that bargain before being transformed into Silver Surfer.

Doug Jones previously played Silver Surfer, who was voiced by Laurence Fishburne in 2007's Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Since the Surfer is in The Fantastic Four, that's the strongest indication yet that Galactus will also appear, potentially as the primary villain. Silver Surfer and Galactus were both created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby during their legendary run on the Fantastic Four comic book series. Silver Surfer quickly became a breakout character and headlined numerous comic book series since his first appearance in 1966.

Garner previous had a major role on Netflix's Ozark. Her other credits include The Americans, Maniac, Dirty John, Inventing Anna, Grandma, and The Assistant.
