Gladiator 2 -- See The Stunning First Images From Long-Awaited Sequel https://ift.tt/KxG6u5N Gladiator 2 comes to theaters this November More than two decades after the original Gladiator came to theaters in 2000, Ridley Scott is returning for a sequel. Expectations are high, as the original film won Best Picture and was a smash hit at the box office. It's too soon to say how Gladiator II will fare critically and commercially, but if the first images from the film are anything to go on, it appears Gladiator II is embracing a similarly cinematic and stylish approach. After releasing the first images exclusively to Vanity Fair , Paramount Pictures has now shared a dozen images from the period film with everyone ahead of the film's first trailer debuting on July 9. The images showcase main character Paul Mescal, who plays a grown-up Lucius, along with the characters played by Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, and Denzel Washington. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom was revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct, and it'll offer a long-awaited twist on the usual formula: a role reversal for Link and Zelda. Link is one of the many Hyrulians who find themselves pulled into a mysterious rift, which means it's Princess Zelda's turn to save the day. Echoes of Wisdom--a title that nods to Zelda's ownership of the Triforce of Wisdom--makes use of the same vibrant visual style seen in the Switch version of Link's Awakening, and it appears to offer a sprawling world for players to explore from a top-down perspective. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom releases on September 26, and preorders are now open ahead of its launch in a few short months.

Alongside Echoes of Wisdom, Nintendo is launching a new Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch Lite console. The limited-edition console isn't available to preorder just yet, but we'll update this guide as soon as it's live at major retailers.
