Demon Slayer, the hit anime based off the best-selling manga Kimetsu no Yaiba, is finally coming to a close. However, rather than close the series' out with a final season, Crunchyroll has announced that the show's final arc, Infinity Castle, will be told over a trilogy of films.

The films were announced shortly after the final episode of the Hashira Training arc aired on June 30. Currently, there's no release date for the films, but it has been confirmed that the movies will be distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment worldwide, except for specific Asian territories such as Japan.

Following the announcement, Crunchyroll released an ominous teaser trailer for the upcoming film. Although not much is shown, the words "With a united will that lasts forever, enter the battle at Infinity Castle" do appear on screen alongside shots of what we can assume to be the castle. It's then followed by a quick montage of various characters from the show, and before it ends, we're given a glimpse of Tanjiro falling.
