How Resident Evil Shifted Perspectives And Framed Fear Over 30 Years

How Resident Evil Shifted Perspectives And Framed Fear Over 30 Years https://ift.tt/FBYlqWb The Resident Evil series is celebrating its 30-year anniversary today, March 22, 2025. During San Diego Comic-Con, a trailer for The Penguin was released. The upcoming spin-off of The Batman will be a limited series branded as an HBO Original. The Batman's Colin Farrell is reprising his role as Oswald "Oz" Cobblepot, and where others see disaster, the Penguin sees an opportunity to take control of the criminal underworld. It also suggests that she may be a vigilante killer known as the Hangman.

The trailer also establishes two of Oz's key relationships. He's taking care of his mentally ill mother, Francis Cobb (Deirdre O'Connell), while also mentoring his new driver, Victor Aguilar (Rhenzy Feliz). Oz even seems to genuinely like Victor, which will put him in danger. Victor seems especially afraid of what Sophia could do to them.
