With Gears of War: E-Day dropping in October, the studio is aiming to bring the franchise back with a bang after a lengthy hiatus. We recently went hands-on with the game--you can check out the video preview below--and our immediate takeaway was that The Coalition hasn't skipped a beat as it still knows how to put together a Gears game that looks and feels great. Set during the cataclysmic events of Emergence Day, Gears of War: E-Day tells the story of humanity's first encounter with the Locust. Outgunned and caught by surprise, it's up to Marcus Fenix to rally the survivors and turn the tide of the conflict. There are several advantages to having a gaming PC, but the biggest barrier to entry is arguably the price. That's something that NZXT is looking to tackle, as the PC parts manufacturer is launching a new subscription program that'll let you rent a gaming PC.

Called Flex, NZXT says the service offers regular upgrades without having to commit to a long-term contract, and it has no hidden fees. NZXT added that you can cancel your subscription at any time and it guarantees an upgrade every two years. You'll still need your own monitor, speakers, and other accessories, but NZXT's prebuilt gaming PCs will take the sting out of that investment.

Anyone interested in Flex can choose from three subscription models, and each prebuilt PC is equipped with a 40-series Nvidia GPU. The most affordable plan starts at $59 a month for a PC with an Intel Core i5 CPU and an Nvidia RTX 4060, $119 amonth for a PC equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and RTX 4070, and $169 a month for a PC with a Core i7-13700KG and a RTX 4070 Ti Super.
