The chance to revisit the earliest version of the game was wildly popular with players, and now reports are emerging that Fortnite OG will be returning on a permanent basis starting in December. Fortnite leakers ShiinaBR and HypeX were the first to report the news. The first 10 seasons of Fortnite, which collectively make up Chapter 1, are said to be returning on a monthly basis, and only the OG loot will be supported. Additionally, both Fortnite's battle royale mode and Zero Build modes will be incorporated into OG. When Fortnite OG launched in 2023, over 44.7 million users logged in to play , which marked the most popular single day in the history of the game. Players will soon be able to serve the Emperor of Mankind and slay heretics on his behalf when Saber Interactives Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines II fully drops later next week. Some may be able to play a little bit earlier if they purchased the game's premium version.

Pre-loading availability

Those playing on the Xbox Series X|S can start pre-loading the game now, no matter which version of the game they purchased. Those who purchased the Gold or Ultra edition for PlayStation 5 can also start pre-loading it now. However, if they purchase the standard edition on PlayStation 5, pre-loading will be available on September 7 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. Those playing on PC will not be able to pre-load the game.

Early access for PC

Those who purchased the Gold or Ultra edition will have full access to the game on September 5 or 6, depending on where they live. Below is a list of when it'll be available.
