Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy is also heavily referenced in the game, including a callback to the first film by Michael Caine, the actor who portrayed Alfred Pennyworth. In 2024, Caine shared a Tweet that quoted Alfred's line from Batman Begins: "Why do we fall, sir? So we can learn to pick ourselves up." However, Caine mistakenly typed "Batman Begin" as the name of his film, and inadvertently created a meme. Both the quote and the typo have been retained for Legacy of the Dark Knight in a line spoken by Alfred himself. HBO's The Last of Us returns on April 13 for its second season. Season 1 aired more than two years ago, so if you're looking for a refresher, HBO has now released a nice recap video.

The Season 1 recap video runs through all the major events in about five minutes, so it's not an exhaustive or comprehensive look back, but it has all the main bits you need to know and remember. Obviously, the video is full of spoilers--check it out below.

Season 2 debuts Sunday, April 13 on HBO and Max. There are seven episodes in all, compared to nine for Season 1. In other news, The Last of Us Season 1's limited-edition Steelbook version launched this week with a nice discount.
