Xbox Kept At Least One Big Promise In Its Most Tumultuous Year Ever https://ift.tt/vSjIod0 When it drastically increased the price of Game Pass Ultimate on October 1, 2025, Xbox made a promise in a now-deleted Xbox Wire post: “Ultimate subscribers now get access to over 75 day-one releases a year.”  In the year since, a lot has changed at Xbox. It has hired a new CEO, laid off thousands of developers, spun off several studios, and scaled back its multiplatform plans. This past year has been one of pivots and changes in strategy for Xbox, so I wondered if that day-one release commitment for Game Pass Ultimate fell by the wayside.  Over the past year, I have tracked every title added to Game Pass Ultimate the day it launched. Arcane Season 2's upcoming pair of Limited Edition Steelbooks are on sale at Amazon. Just like with Season 1, the second and final season of Netflix's animated League of Legends series is getting two unique collectible editions. Arcane Season 2's 4K Blu-ray Steelbook Edition is discounted to $46 (was $60), and the standard Blu-ray Steelbook Edition is on sale for $43 (was $55). Arcane Season 2 releases on Blu-ray October 28. Amazon is also offering some pretty steep discounts on Season 1, in case you need to complete your collection of Arcane Steelbook Editions.

Season 2's Steelbook Editions were designed to match last year's versions for Season 1. The 4K Steelbook for both seasons features Jinx on the cover, and the Blu-ray Steelbooks have Vi on the cover. Where the designs differ--beyond color schemes--are with the back covers. For Season 2, GKIDS added a second character on the back, essentially making these reversible display cases.
