Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokemon Legends Z-A , were among the first games to launch with Switch 2 Editions, while older games such as Super Mario Party Jamboree are among the titles getting an upgrade. Fans who already own those games for the original Switch can purchase an upgrade to the Switch 2 Editions, typically costing $10 (though some exceptions apply). The good news for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom owners is that the Zelda Switch 2 Edition upgrades will be free to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members. The Witcher fans can now read Geralt of Rivia's origin story in Crossroads of Ravens, the latest novel in Andrzej Sapkowski's best-selling fantasy series. Originally published in Poland last November, the English translation released in the US this week (September 30). While Crossroads of Ravens is the ninth book in The Witcher series, you don't need to be a longtime reader to understand what's going on. The prequel takes place before the other Witcher novels and original short story collections, so it's a suitable starting point for fans of the video game and TV adaptations, too.

Crossroads of Ravens is available in hardcover, ebook, and audiobook. The hardcover edition is on sale for $24.50 (was $30). If you prefer audiobooks, Crossroads of Ravens is available on Audible for $19.68 (was $22.49). Audible Premium Plus members can purchase it for $15.74 or with their monthly credit.
