In addition to spinning Backrooms into a TV series, Parsons is eyeing a movie based on Valve's Portal game. The New York Times reports that Parsons said adapting the puzzle-platformer would be his dream. The report did not include any direct quotes from Parsons about this, so that's all we know, but the author of the piece, Kyle Buchanan, shared quotes online that didn't make it into the NYT story. Get '90s Thriller The Bone Collector On 4K For 50% Off During Launch Week https://ift.tt/0J1GoQ7

With spooky season in full swing, there's only one thing that should be on your to-do list: Cozying up and watching all your favorite horror and thriller movies. If you're more into mysteries than you are jump scares, the 1999 classic, The Bone Collector, has just been released on 4K Blu-Ray and is 50% off the original price during launch week. That's just $22.49 for a Blu-Ray that would normally run you $45, so if you want to pick up a copy, now is the time to do it.

The Bone Collector 4K Blu-Ray Special Features

The Bone Collector 4K Blu-Ray offers a short selection of bonus features that you can enjoy after you watch the movie, including multiple audio commentaries, a behind-the-scenes featurette, and more.

  • Three Audio Commentary tracks featuring: Director Phillip Noyce; Film Historians Steve Mitchell and Edwin Samuelson; and critic Kim Newman and journalist Barry Forshaw
  • Spotlight on Location: Featurette
  • Remastered Theatrical Trailer

While not exactly a Halloween classic, The Bone Collector is still worth a watch during spooky season. The classic thriller stars Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie as they try to solve the case of a serial killer who aims to distract their pursuers with macabre puzzles. The new 4K edition is likely the best-looking version of the film available, and since it comes with a standard Blu-ray disc version of the film, you can enjoy the movie whether you have a 4K Blu-ray player or are still rocking with an old-school standard Blu-ray device instead. However, if you want to save even more cash, the previously released The Bone Collector standard Blu-ray edition is also available at Amazon for just $12.49. You'll miss out on the 4K remastering, but it includes all the same bonus materials.
