With Gears of War: E-Day dropping in October, the studio is aiming to bring the franchise back with a bang after a lengthy hiatus. We recently went hands-on with the game--you can check out the video preview below--and our immediate takeaway was that The Coalition hasn't skipped a beat as it still knows how to put together a Gears game that looks and feels great. Set during the cataclysmic events of Emergence Day, Gears of War: E-Day tells the story of humanity's first encounter with the Locust. Outgunned and caught by surprise, it's up to Marcus Fenix to rally the survivors and turn the tide of the conflict. HBO's Game of Thrones spin-off, House of the Dragon, has been to be a proven hit with the media giant even bringing in nine million viewers for the Season 1 finale on the night it premiered. Production for Season 2 will be underway early next year, with George R. R. Martin himself saying the series needs four seasons to tell the story right.

Even though the finale was leaked two days ahead of the premiere, fans were still clamoring for the episode and want more. With no Season 2 premiere date announced, though, they're going to have to wait. But thankfully, the cast and crew of the series have broken down the Season 1 finale and what lies ahead for the show's characters.
