However, instead of introducing Kratos's newest adventure, Santa Monica Studio revealed God of War Laufey, which, as indicated by the title, shifts its focus to Faye, a hero and warrior in her own right, to tell a tale that runs parallel to the events of the 2018 God of War reboot. Somewhat expectedly, there has been everything from excitement to anger at the new direction. Despite that, episode 4's 7.5 million number is a 17% increase versus episode 3, which pulled in 6.4 million. Even HBO knows when it's beaten, though, so with the Super Bowl happening this Sunday, the network is making The Last of Us Episode 5 available on HBO Max on Friday, February 10, at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.
