The Dawn of War series has always reinvented itself with each entry. Dawn of War II eschewed the first game’s focus on amassing large armies in favor of micro-managing smaller groups, or sometimes individual units. It removed the original's base-building mechanics, and its maps were less of an open-ended sandbox, hewing closer to being an isometric action-RPG. John Wick 5 is in the works, Lionsgate has confirmed, and the company also discussed how the John Wick AAA video game is coming along.

As part of Lionsgate's latest earnings presentation, president Joe Drake said the film company has been impressed by the box office results of John Wick 4 and wants to keep the ball rolling. The aim is to create a "regular cadence" of releases, and this includes entries in the core series as well as spin-offs.

"Ballerina is the first spin-off that comes out next year. We're in development on three others, including 5 and including television series, The Continental, will be airing soon. But you can rely on a regular cadence of John Wick," Drake said (via ComicBook).
