The Sorcerer is one of the most popular classes in the Diablo franchise. Previously going by the name Wizard, this class is both beginner-friendly and extremely powerful, especially when players synchronize their build correctly. There are three distinct routes that players can take their Sorcerer builds in Diablo 4 if they're looking to maximize how much damage they can do. Those routes would be a Frost, Lightning, and Fire Sorcerer.

Today, we will be offering up the best build for each one of these routes for the Sorcerer. This will include the best skills to use as well as what passives and enchantments you should use. It will not include any particular Legendary Aspects, but you can find our picks for the best Sorcerer Aspects in a previous guide.

Best Sorcerer Builds

While you can go with a solid all-around build for the Sorcerer, featuring skills across the three different elements, you will find that skills with the same damage type work incredibly well together. Frost Sorcerers can freeze their enemies and then have them explode while frozen, dealing even more damage to surrounding enemies while Lightning Sorcerers can create chain reactions all across the battlefield.
