How To Play As Godzilla In Fortnite https://ift.tt/V0rndRA Fortnite 's collaboration with the Legendary Pictures' MonsterVerse has brought Godzilla and King Kong skins to Fortnite, but this event isn't just about cosmetics--it's also adding the chance that one player each round of battle royale will get to play as Godzilla. And by "play as Godzilla," I mean you will be taller than the tallest building in Seaport City, and will have the ability to crush every building and build on the map by stepping on it or firing off Godzilla's laser breath. It's similar to how the playable Doctor Doom worked during Chapter 5 Season 4, except you'll be even taller than the giant Doom was. But the way this works can be a little bit confusing the first few times you encounter it--while there have been past Fortnite events that were in a similar vein to this Godzilla event, the way it actually functions is all new. Fortnite players have been expecting more skins based on The Witcher franchise ever since Geralt joined the game as a part of the Chapter 4 Season 1 battle pass earlier this year, and now it's finally happening. The item shop has been updated with skins for the dashing Ciri and the mega-powerful Yennefer of Vengerberg, and we've got a pair of new Witcher-flavored Creative maps where you can earn some free cosmetics.

The item shop got an early reset on Friday morning to unleash Ciri, Yennefer, and their accompanying sets of cosmetics. If you were hoping for skins based on the Netflix series, sorry--like Geralt, Ciri and Yen are Gaming Legends skins based on the CD Projekt Red video games.

Ciri comes with the Zireael back bling, and you can also grab her Zireael Sword pickaxe and the Basilisk glider.
