Horizon Forbidden West developer Guerrilla Games has created a memorial inside the game to honor the passing of late actor Lance Reddick, who played Sylens in the franchise.

Guerilla posted a screenshot of the main protagonist Aloy as she sits in front of the memorial. The studio said, "Thank you, Lance, for everything you brought to the role of Sylens: your gravitas, energy, wisdom, and more. An incomparable talent and friend. We miss you terribly."

The memorial shows a hologram with Lance Reddick's name, and players can visit it on the first island that Aloy lands on in the game's Burning Shores DLC expansion.
