How To Play As Godzilla In Fortnite https://ift.tt/V0rndRA Fortnite 's collaboration with the Legendary Pictures' MonsterVerse has brought Godzilla and King Kong skins to Fortnite, but this event isn't just about cosmetics--it's also adding the chance that one player each round of battle royale will get to play as Godzilla. And by "play as Godzilla," I mean you will be taller than the tallest building in Seaport City, and will have the ability to crush every building and build on the map by stepping on it or firing off Godzilla's laser breath. It's similar to how the playable Doctor Doom worked during Chapter 5 Season 4, except you'll be even taller than the giant Doom was. But the way this works can be a little bit confusing the first few times you encounter it--while there have been past Fortnite events that were in a similar vein to this Godzilla event, the way it actually functions is all new. As usual, the next PlayStation Plus free games lineup has leaked early. These leaks have never been wrong, so it's close to a guarantee that PlayStation will announce the same trio of games later today. With that said, the PS Plus Essential lineup for July 2023 is shaping up to be quite impressive: Alan Wake Remastered, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and Endling - Extinction is Forever.

Alan Wake Remastered is particularly timely, as Alan Wake II is set to launch October 17 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. If you've never played the original game, the 2021 remaster is definitely worth checking out. The action-adventure follows the eponymous thriller novelist's search for his missing wife while on vacation in a curious little town. Though the original game only dabbles with horror, the sequel looks like a straight-up horror game. Both the PS5 and PS4 versions of Alan Wake Remastered will be up for grabs.

PS Plus subscribers will also be able to check out Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the 2020 entry in the first-person shooter franchise. Cold War is the latest iteration of the Black Ops sub-series from Treyarch and Raven Software. Its campaign is (unsurprisingly) set during the 1980s, and it has a full online multiplayer suite as well as Zombies mode. The freebie will be the Cross-Gen bundle, which means the PS5 and PS4 versions are included.
