Xbox CEO Joins Federal Reserve’s Productivity And Jobs Task Force Amid Tumultuous Time https://ift.tt/SzyVoWR The United States central bank, the Federal Reserve, has announced new task forces to "advance the conduct of monetary policy," and its board has chosen Xbox CEO Asha Sharma to help guide one task force pertaining to AI, as part of a wider effort to help create jobs and keep prices stable. The new Productivity and Jobs task force will look into the "economic impact of new general-purpose technologies," including AI, to help the Fed make better policy decisions. Sharma is joined on this task force by billionaire businessman and venture capitalist Marc Andreessen, along with Stanford University economics professor Charles I. Jones--he is currently on leave from the university to become a scholar-in-residence at the AI company Anthropic. Humble's massive End of Summer sale went live earlier today, discounting hundreds of PC games--and even a few Nintendo Switch titles--by up to 90% for a limited time.

Many of the PC games included in the sale are from major publishers. Capcom fans can grab the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy collection for just $9.89 (down from $30) or Monster Hunter Rise bundled with the Sunbreak DLC expansion for $39.59 (normally $60). A bunch of Ubisoft games are also discounted, including Immortals Fenyx Rising Gold Edition for $14 (normally $100) and Far Cry 6 Game of the Year Edition for $36 (normally $120).

There are plenty of indie PC games on sale like Blasphemous for $6.24 (down from $25), and preorders for its sequel Blasphemous 2 are discounted to $27 (normally $30). Other indie game deals include Hollow Knight for $7.49 (normally $15), Cult of the Lamb for $17.49 (down from $25), and Rogue Legacy 2 for $16.24 (down from $25).
