This is a team that loves rewarding players who notice the smaller details and go off the golden path in search of morsels of understanding. Connecting dots is often much of the fun in a Remedy game.  To my surprise, that side of the developer wasn't on display much in Control Resonant. There are definitely a few nods, and one chain of side quests in particular seems to have greater implications for the studio's future connected-universe games, but overall, I was taken aback by how disinterested Resonant was in tying itself to Remedy's bigger picture. Starfield offers a ton of different activities to do during your journey through the known universe. One of those activities is outpost building, which allows you to create facilities on different planets and moons. These outposts can be used to generate resources based on what's available on that planet and they can house a variety of workstations for you to use.

Finding the right place to set up an outpost can be tricky, so here's everything you need to know about building outposts and maximizing their efficiency.

A good candidate for an outpost has Helium-3, and one of the main building resources, Aluminum or Iron.

While you will eventually be able to build outposts on pretty much any planet if you upgrade the Planetary Habitation skill, to start out you will need to meet some specific requirements. For a first outpost you should look for a planet or moon that meets the following requirements:
