God Of War TV Show Forced To Recast Kratos After Serious Injury https://ift.tt/u3WgNwZ Production has been underway on Prime Video's God of War TV show since late February, but it's come to a jarring halt as lead actor Ryan Hurst has suffered a serious injury while recording his role as Kratos. According to Deadline , Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios have decided to recast the role after Ryan Hurst was injured on the set of the video game adaptation in late June. Hurst put on a huge 40 lbs of muscle for the role, and had been filming the show for months before he tore a bicep while performing a stunt. Following surgery, he is now in recovery, but an injury such as this projects a four-to-six-month recovery period. To get back to full strength could take as long as a year. Given the nature of the role of Kratos, it seems like it would not be safe for Hurst to resume filming until mid-to-late 2027 at the earliest. With tight deadlines to adhere to, the...

Ark: Survival Ascended is a fresh take on the original Ark: Survival Evolved, and presents players with many of the same challenges when first starting out. You're dropped into as hostile of an environment as possible and must find your own way to survive the perils of your surroundings. The game offers extremely little in the way of any tutorials, so you basically need to figure everything out for yourself if you want to make it through your first night unscathed.

To avoid any classic beginner mistakes and ensure you survive in Ark: Survival Ascended, we have put together a list of eight tips you need to know to make it through your first few hours.

1. Pick the right starter location

When you first boot up a game in Ark: Survival Ascended, you will be presented with a map that allows you to pick where to spawn. These spawn points won't have any obvious traits about them, as you're looking at a map that is completely unknown to you. However, the one trait all spawn locations do have is a rating of how difficult they are.
