Nintendo Switch 2 Continues To Be A Massive Hit, Selling Over 10 Million Units In Four Months https://ift.tt/TulRPz3 Nintendo has confirmed that in the last two quarters, it has sold a staggering number of Switch 2 consoles . As part of its latest financial results, the company reported 10.36 million Switch 2 units sold as of September 30, in the two quarters since it went on sale. In the last three months alone, Nintendo sold 4.54 million Switch 2 consoles. To put that into context, that's more than double what the original Switch console sold within the same two-month time period (4.7 million units sold), and even more than what Sony managed with the PS4 (7.5 million units sold) and PS5 (7.8 million units sold) during its first two quarters. With the Switch 2 selling well, Nintendo has now increased its hardware forecast for the business year, as it predicts that it'll sell 19 million Switch 2 consoles, up from its original estimate of 15 million . The first trailer for the next Mad Max movie, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, has arrived--and it's pretty epic. A prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa focuses on the character Furiosa, who was played by Charlize Theron in Fury Road and is now depicted by Anya Taylor-Joy.

George Miller returns to direct once again in what's described as an "original, standalone" action movie that will reveal the origins of Furiosa. In addition to Taylor-Joy, the movie features Chris Hemsworth as Dementus. As you can see in the trailer, Furiosa looks like it features a lot of what made Fury Road great, including action, beautiful cinematography, and epic vehicles ripping through the desert. We also see that Furiosa's arm is missing, and the movie may explain what happened.

"As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus," reads a line from the movie's description. "Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home."
