World of Goo, the cult hit from the Wii era is finally getting a sequel, as announced at The Game Awards. The aptly named World of Goo 2 trailer showed off a lot of style and tone, as well as some commentary on how long it's been since the original game.

The trailer displayed more bridge-construction puzzles using your little goo balls as anchors, along with obstacles and elements like lava, balloons, cannons, and more. They also had some cheeky commentary about how it's been 15 years since the original release on PC and Wii. One of the little moppets was even seen carrying a Wii remote, to put a fine point on it.
