Console gamers are able to use a classic Halo feature that the PC port seemingly lacks: split-screen co-op. However, a new PC mod restores access to this missing feature. A Halo: Campaign Evolved split-screen co-op mod was posted on Nexus Mods by user Jpurd. As noted by Jpurd, the mod doesn't do anything except unlock the local split-screen option that was already in the game. There are some drawbacks to this AI-created mod. It can only handle two players via split-screen mode even though the game can support 4-player co-op. Users also note that it only works if both players are using a controller, and the mod may be limited to Steam users. From Software will reveal the first gameplay trailer for Elden Ring's DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. It'll premiere at on February 21 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET.

From Software has also confirmed that the trailer will be three minutes long. Back in December, a gaming retailer in the Philippines inadvertently leaked the expansion's possible release date as February 2024. Given the timing of this gameplay trailer, the leak may have been true after all. However, we'll have to wait until From Software gives an official confirmation.

Along with the leaked release date, the retailer also mentioned that Elden Ring would be getting another expansion in 2025 to coincide with potential Malenia and Ranni-themed controllers.
