The chance to revisit the earliest version of the game was wildly popular with players, and now reports are emerging that Fortnite OG will be returning on a permanent basis starting in December. Fortnite leakers ShiinaBR and HypeX were the first to report the news. The first 10 seasons of Fortnite, which collectively make up Chapter 1, are said to be returning on a monthly basis, and only the OG loot will be supported. Additionally, both Fortnite's battle royale mode and Zero Build modes will be incorporated into OG. When Fortnite OG launched in 2023, over 44.7 million users logged in to play , which marked the most popular single day in the history of the game. Veteran actor Jon Hamm has said he continues to pursue a role in a superhero movie, and he's even pitched Marvel on an idea. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Hamm said he's a "comic book nerd" and came to the meeting prepared to sell an idea and himself as the actor to play the part.

"I've pitched myself for a couple parts of the Marvel universe, I don't want to say what exactly, but it was a part of a comic book that I really liked," he said. "I was like, 'Are you going to do this story?' And they were like, 'Yeah, we're actually thinking of that.' I go, 'Good. I should be the guy.' So maybe it'll work out."

Hamm went on to say he aspires to achieve something similar to Jeff Goldblum, who had a scene-stealing moment in Thor: Ragnarok.
