The Switch 2 Mario Kart Bundle ($500) and console on its own ($450) first popped up on Amazon during Prime Day, a few weeks after Amazon started carrying first-party Nintendo products for the first time in over a year. Amazon notes the Switch 2 is a "high-demand item with limited quantities." Based on our own testing, what we've seen online, and Amazon's published sales figures, "limited quantities" is relative here. Amazon says it has sold over 20,000 Mario Kart World Bundles over the past month, which is really just two weeks. While you wait for your invitation to (hopefully) arrive, you can check out Ama...

Zenless Zone Zero - How To Get More Battery Charge And Ether Battery

Zenless Zone Zero - How To Get More Battery Charge And Ether Battery https://ift.tt/14jZXAE

Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play game and, just like a few others in the same genre, there's a meter of sorts that blocks progression and the number of activities that you can do. However, a few items can help you gain the energy you need. Here's our guide on how to get Ether Battery and Battery Charge in Zenless Zone Zero.

How to get Battery Charge and Ether Battery in Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero Battery Charge is one of the most important core resources in terms of progression. Without it, you might find yourself lacking the necessary materials. Our guide discusses what Battery Charge is used for, followed by how it can be replenished in the game.

What is Battery Charged use for in Zenless Zone Zero

Think of Battery Charge in Zenless Zone Zero as your stamina or energy. By default, you have 240/240 as shown in the upper-right portion of the menu. However, some activities in the Hollow Investigative Association (HIA) Club will deplete a certain amount:

  • Combat Simulation (including selecting more enemies that grant extra rewards)
  • Expert Challenge
  • Routine Cleanup

The above means that you need Battery Charge if you want to grind for materials, including those that provide character and W-Engine XP. Likewise, since there are times when you might lack XP for Inter-Knot levels, then you might find yourself tackling HIA activities that grant the necessary XP.

Thankfully, other tasks won't consume Battery Charge at all:

  • Main quests and side commissions
  • Hollow Zero
  • Shiyu Defense
  • Notorious Hunt

Replenishing Battery Charge gradually

When you lose an amount of Battery Charge, it's gradually replenished in real-time at a rate of +1 point every six minutes or +10 points every hour. If the entire resource is depleted, you should regain 240/240 once 24 hours have elapsed. Needless to say, this is a very slow process, so you might as well go offline and do something else while waiting.

Drink coffee to recharge your energy

The Coff Cafe establishment opens upon completing some early-game missions. Once available, you can buy one cup of coffee to replenish +60 Battery Charge. However, take note that you can only do this once per daily reset.

Should you spend your Polychrome just to regain stamina?

Polychrome is a currency obtained via events, Inter-Knot levels, achievements, and other tasks. By default, you can spend 50x Polychrome to gain +60 Battery Charge. This can be done up to eight times per daily reset, but the cost increases as this function is used.

To be clear, we do not recommend spending your Polychromes just to recharge your energy. Polychrome is best used for the Signal Shop (i.e. gacha) since it can be exchanged for Master Tapes and Encrypted Master Tapes. These currencies are the ones that you need to for rerolling purposes and to acquire 5-star/S-rank agents.

How to get more Ether Battery

Using a single Ether Battery instantly grants +60 Battery Charge. However, do take note that it's also one of the rarest items in the game. You can get Ether Battery in Zenless Zone Zero from the following sources:

  • In-game events - Some in-game events may reward Ether Battery.
  • Inter-Knot levels - You obtain Ether Battery upon reaching certain levels:
    • Levels 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40.
    • Each level past Inter-Knot rank 40 rewards you with Ether Batteries.
  • New Eridu City Fund - This is the Zenless Zone Zero battle pass, and there are several types:
    • Basic Plan - This is unlocked for free once you complete the initial HIA Club activities. You receive Ether Batteries upon reaching levels 5, 15, and 25.
    • Growth Plan - This costs $9.99. You receive more materials and resources, as well as extra Ether Batteries at levels 15 and 25.
    • Premium Plan - This costs $19.99. You instantly gain 10 battle pass levels and a few cosmetic goodies. Likewise, you receive +5 Ether Battery instantly.

That does it for our Zenless Zone Zero Battery Charge and Ether Battery guide. Long story short: running out of Battery Charge means that you should buy a drink from the Coff Cafe first. Then, you can go ahead and use some of your Ether Batteries.

Outside of these methods, we recommend just waiting for time to elapse so that the resource can gradually recharge. Lastly, you should avoid spending your Polychromes unless you've already amassed a lot and you don't need to exchange them for Master Tapes.

Zenless Zone Zero has you braving the dangers of dimensional rifts known as Hollows. There are threats everywhere, and it's best to be prepared. For more tips and strategies, you can visit our guides hub.
