The chance to revisit the earliest version of the game was wildly popular with players, and now reports are emerging that Fortnite OG will be returning on a permanent basis starting in December. Fortnite leakers ShiinaBR and HypeX were the first to report the news. The first 10 seasons of Fortnite, which collectively make up Chapter 1, are said to be returning on a monthly basis, and only the OG loot will be supported. Additionally, both Fortnite's battle royale mode and Zero Build modes will be incorporated into OG. When Fortnite OG launched in 2023, over 44.7 million users logged in to play , which marked the most popular single day in the history of the game. Pinball FX developer Zen Studios has announced two new themed tables arriving in the game on August 29, inspired by The Princess Bride and Goat Simulator. Based on the classic 1987 film, The Princess Bride pinball table has several features that'll let players interact with characters from the fantasy movie, like matching Vizzini in a battle of wits and freeing Westley from a deathtrap by shooting a pinball through marked lanes. If you're feeling lucky--or you're prepared to die--you can even challenge Inigo Montoya to a duel.

For the Goat Simulator table, things get weird with this crossover as it has headbutting bumpers, a big red button that can be triggered to start a nuclear apocalypse, a chance to stop an alien invasion, and an opportunity chance to impress the judges on an episode of Farmer's Got Talent. Like the Goat Simulator games developed by Coffee Stain North, this one is all about causing as much chaos as possible in each run.
