Metro Awakening is the latest entry in the post-apocalyptic franchise that spans games, books, and more. If you’re interested in learning more about the Metro universe ahead of Awakening’s arrival, then consider diving into the books that inspired the game series.

Written by Dmitry Glukhovsky, the series begins with the lengthy Metro 2033. Clocking in at over 450 pages, it gives you a closer look at the life of Artyom and the post-apocalyptic world of Moscow.
