Top 20 Best-Selling Games For September 2024 In The US https://ift.tt/HBoTYaM

Market-research firm Circana has released its list of the top 20 best-selling games for September 2024, and it's not shocking to see sports sim powerhouse EA Sports FC 25, from the game series formerly known as FIFA, topping the list.

According to Circana analyst Matt Piscatella, FC 25 showed double-digit percentage growth over FC 24 when comparing both games' launch months. In fact, FC 25 saw the highest launch-month dollar sales in the US of any soccer game released to date.

August's sport sim powerhouses Madden NFL 25 and EA Sports College Football have dropped down to third and fifth place respectively, after sharing the two top spots in August's top 20. Other popular sports titles released during September include NBA 2K25, which came in at #7, and NHL 25, which was ranked 9th.

The other new releases making an appearance in the top 20 include Sony's Astro Bot, which debuted in second place, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom at #4, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics at #16, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 at #18.
