Amazon has dropped the price of Astro Bot for PS5 to only $43 (was $60). The winner of the top prize at this year's Game Awards was already discounted to $50 at Amazon and other retailers as part of PlayStation's Holiday Sale, but the new $43 price is the best yet. This deal is only available at Amazon. The retailer briefly had the charming 3D platformer for this price last week, but it sold out quick. If you're interested, we'd recommend grabbing it soon.

The only downside here is that Amazon currently estimates a delivery window of two to four weeks. If you need it by Christmas, you'll want to order from Walmart or Best Buy for $50 instead.

Astro Bot

If you missed it when it first launched in September, Astro Bot is a charming adventure game that mixes beautifully designed levels with fun platforming gameplay. For anyone who has owned multiple generations of gaming hardware--specifically, PlayStation consoles--Astro Bot is also effortlessly charming as it features hundreds of little bots, many of which are modeled after iconic characters from PlayStation's history.

"Team Asobi cements itself as an essential PlayStation studio with an imaginative platformer for the ages," Mark Delaney wrote in GameSpot's Astro Bot review.

Astro Bot makes incredible use of the PS5's DualSense Controller, with clever implementation of haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. If you have even the slightest interest in the platformer genre, Astro Bot is a must-play game.

Funko is taking preorders on an exclusive Astro Bot vinyl figure with a chrome finish. Astro got to keep its normal eyes, so this figure very much looks like Astro Bot, not Astro Funko Bot.

Preorders for the Astro Bot Pop are available until December 19 at 6:30 AM ET / 9:30 AM PT. Funko expects to ship preorders on May 29, 2025.
