Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy is also heavily referenced in the game, including a callback to the first film by Michael Caine, the actor who portrayed Alfred Pennyworth. In 2024, Caine shared a Tweet that quoted Alfred's line from Batman Begins: "Why do we fall, sir? So we can learn to pick ourselves up." However, Caine mistakenly typed "Batman Begin" as the name of his film, and inadvertently created a meme. Both the quote and the typo have been retained for Legacy of the Dark Knight in a line spoken by Alfred himself. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass on April 24. The turn-based RPG is the debut title from Sandfall Interactive, and featutes gameplay inspired by classic console RPGs like Final Fantasy with stylish visuals thanks to Unreal Engine 5. The game is getting a physical release, with a standard edition, special Lumiere Edition, and premium Collector's Edition up for grabs.
