Next month, several big-name titles will be leaving PlayStation Plus. Among them are Life is Strange, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat.

First off, Life is Strange: True Colors and Life is Strange 2 are on the list. They're both fantastic entries in Square Enix's narrative series, with the former focusing on an Asian-American woman with psychic empathy powers and the latter is about two Hispanic brothers becoming fugitives as one of them starts developing telekinesis. Fans of these games should also check out Lost Records: Bloom & Rage's first episode as it's now on PlayStation Plus too.

The Resident Evil 3 remake is also leaving. While it isn't as good as the Resident Evil 2 remake, it's still well worth playing to follow Jill Valentine's story. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD follows a group of twelve school kids, known as Class Zero, as they repel an invasion from another nation. It's a great recommendation for those who enjoy games like Persona.

While Street Fighter 5 and Mortal Kombat 11 are older predecessors to their current entries, Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1, respectively, they're still fantastic fighting games on their own to check out if you haven't already. Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is worth mentioning for fans of the anime's storyline as it closely follows Goku's adventure.

As a reminder, subscribers can pick up Payday 3, High on Life, and Pac-Man World: Re-Pac as part of their free games during February 2025.
