Civilization 7 - Cultural Legacy And Cultural Victory Guide https://ift.tt/M2ZaE0o

There are multiple ways to win matches in Sid Meier's Civilization 7. One of these involves leaving the rest of the world dazzled by countless wonders and precious artifacts. Here's our guide to help you with the Cultural Legacy and Cultural Victory in Civilization 7.

How to get a Cultural Victory in Civilization 7 - Cultural Legacy guide

Your Cultural Legacy in Civilization 7, similar to other facets, such as Economic, Military, and Science, is part of an interconnected system that determines how you progress through the game. Then, once you reach the Modern Age, you can focus on key objectives that lead to a Cultural Victory.

Cultural Legacy in the Antiquity Age: Wonders of the Ancient World

Those who want to follow the Civilization 7 Cultural Legacy milestones during the Antiquity Era need to rush wonders. That means looking for boosts to your culture so you can study civics that unlock these wonders.

Of course, you should have high production so you can construct these buildings before your opponents can do so. Lastly, note that you can only build wonders in your capital and other cities. Towns only have a limited number of available buildings that you can purchase, and there's no way you can construct wonders in these settlements.

  • Step 1: Construct any wonder.
  • Step 2: Construct two wonders in total.
  • Step 3: Construct four wonders in total.
  • Step 4: Construct seven wonders in total.

Cultural Legacy in the Exploration Age: Toshakhana

Upon reaching the Exploration Age, the Civilization 7 Cultural Legacy path switches to an entirely different objective. This time, you need to focus on spreading your religion far and wide, as doing so helps you gain relics. We discuss these concepts further in our best pantheons/religious beliefs guide and relics/missionaries guide.

  • Step 1:
    • Study the Piety civic.
    • Build a Temple.
    • Establish your own religion.
  • Step 2:
    • Train a missionary or a related civ-specific unit that replaces it.
    • Convert any foreign settlement to your religion.
  • Step 3:
    • Study the Theology civic.
    • Adopt an Enhancer Belief.
  • Step 4: Collect and display six relics.
  • Step 5: Collect and display nine relics.
  • Step 6: Collect and display 12 relics.

Cultural Legacy in the Modern Age: Geographic Society and the World's Fair

Things get a bit different once you hit the Modern Age. During this era, your focus is on gathering artifacts left behind by long-lost peoples. We discuss this mechanic in our explorers/artifacts guide.

  • Step 1:
    • Study the Natural History civic.
    • Train an Explorer.
  • Step 2:
    • Have a University or Museum.
    • Bring your Explorer to the University or Museum in your lands, then start the Research Artifacts action.
  • Step 3: Locate, excavate, and display one artifact.
  • Step 4:
    • Study the Hegemony civic.
    • Display a total of five artifacts.
    • Optional: Use the Research Artifact action on a University or Museum that's on different continents.
  • Step 5: Display a total of 10 artifacts.
  • Step 6: Display a total of 15 artifacts.

You're getting fairly close to achieving a Cultural Victory in Civilization 7. The last step requires you to complete the World's Fair project in one of your cities. This can take several turns, so make sure you're well prepared.

That does it for our Civilization 7 Cultural Victory and Cultural Legacy guide. We hope that you're able to make the rest of the world wear your blue jeans and listen to your pop music. If you're keen on learning about the other victory conditions, you can check our guides regarding the Economic, Military, and Science facets.
