First was assistant director Yohei Shimbori in August of 2025, followed by Executive Director and the "face of Tekken" Katsuhiro Harada --who recently revealed his new studio in partnership with SNK. Today, another Tekken developer and fighting-game veteran has officially announced his departure. Kohei Ikeda, known among fans under the moniker "Nakatsu," has worked at Bandai Namco for over 20 years--primarily on the Tekken series but also contributing to games like Soulcalibur IV and the Project X Zone titles. He served as both game director and chief producer on Tekken 8. Capcom has announced that it is extending the second open beta test for Monster Hunter Wilds on all platforms as a result of PlayStation Network being down this past weekend.

In a statement, Capcom said, "Hunters, we're pleased to confirm that due to the PlayStation Network outage that occurred during the first week of OBT2, we're extending the second week of OBT2 by +24 hours on all platforms!"

The second weekend of the open beta test will start at the normal time, February 13 at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET. However, the open beta's end time has been extended by a full 24 hours, meaning that it will now ends on February 18 at 6:59 PM PT / 9:59 PM ET.
