In North America, the film made $60 million, and globally, it brought in $48.3 million. That makes for a combined total of $108.3 million . Nintendo has rolled out a fresh update for Splatoon 3. On top of visual improvements on Switch 2, the ver. 10.0.0 patch introduces a wealth of new content to the game, along with some weapon balance tweaks and other gameplay adjustments.

According to the official patch notes, Splatoon 3 now looks and runs better when played on Switch 2. Moving around hub areas like Splatsville and the Grand Festival Grounds is now smoother, and the visuals overall are more detailed. Nintendo says it has also "smoothed animations" for jellyfish and other characters around the game.

The update also adds a range of new weapons as part of the "Splatlands Collection." 30 weapons in total are now available in the Ammo Knights shop. The classic Splatoon 1 stage Urchin Underpass has been added as well, bringing the total number of multiplayer maps to 25.
