But since the event coincides with Rocket League's 10th anniversary celebration, Epic is giving folks a little bit more incentive to try out the popular car soccer game by offering a free Fortnite skin and glider that you can only earn by playing Rocket League. The Rocket League half of the event wraps up on August 4, so you'll only have until then to earn them. You can earn this Fortnite skin for free by playing Rocket League. How the event works is that both Fortnite and Rocket League have Summer Road Trip quests that players can complete to unlock the Corvette ZR1, and each game has its own unique set of other rewards that you can unlock along the way. Nintendo has rolled out a fresh update for Splatoon 3. On top of visual improvements on Switch 2, the ver. 10.0.0 patch introduces a wealth of new content to the game, along with some weapon balance tweaks and other gameplay adjustments.

According to the official patch notes, Splatoon 3 now looks and runs better when played on Switch 2. Moving around hub areas like Splatsville and the Grand Festival Grounds is now smoother, and the visuals overall are more detailed. Nintendo says it has also "smoothed animations" for jellyfish and other characters around the game.

The update also adds a range of new weapons as part of the "Splatlands Collection." 30 weapons in total are now available in the Ammo Knights shop. The classic Splatoon 1 stage Urchin Underpass has been added as well, bringing the total number of multiplayer maps to 25.
