Nobody Star Bob Odenkirk Knows Exactly How He'd Kill Mario If They Fought https://ift.tt/RtVBXWM Better Call Saul and Mr. Show actor Bob Odenkirk usually comes off as a mild-mannered person in real life, but in an interview, Odenkirk spoke about just how his character of Hutch Mansell from the Nobody movies would fight, maim, and kill Nintendo's mascot Mario. "I'll kill Mario, I'll tear that mustache off his face, jam it down his throat, take his swimming goggles, rip them to pieces, and stab him with those. It's gonna be bloody," Odenkirk said to IGN during San Diego Comic-Con. Other pop-culture icons that would face the wrath of Hutch include most of the Brady Bunch family and--rightfully--Alvin and the Chipmunks. "I will step on them and crush them under my foot," Odenkirk said about the cinematic vermin. You'll hear the bones and the gush inside their bodies. And you're going to cheer." Steam Offers Free Game, But Only Until June 15

Steam Offers Free Game, But Only Until June 15 https://ift.tt/SIr5iVN

Dear Villagers is having a publisher sale on Steam. Most of its games (Big Helmet Heroes, The Forgotten City, Gravity Circuit, etc.) are currently being offered at a discounted price. One particular game, however, is being offered for free. For a limited time, players can claim Hellslave on Steam and keep it forever. No strings attached.

Developed by Ars Goetia and released back in 2022, Hellslave is a dark fantasy dungeon crawler that tasks players with saving humanity via a deal with the devil. By using the power granted from worshipping one of six demons, they'll need to subdue the forces of hell. Varying skill trees, turn-based combat, a large post-apocalyptic world map to explore--the game seemingly has all the makings of an interesting RPG. And thanks to this Dear Villagers promotion, it’ll be available for free until June 16.

Steam is known for its seasonal and publisher-based sales. What it isn’t known for, at least not to the extent of competing platforms, is free games. So, it’s nice to see a game being offered in this fashion, especially since Ars Goetia announced that Hellslave 2 is coming in 2026; what better way to check out the original Hellslave ahead of its sequel?
