Xbox CEO Joins Federal Reserve’s Productivity And Jobs Task Force Amid Tumultuous Time https://ift.tt/SzyVoWR The United States central bank, the Federal Reserve, has announced new task forces to "advance the conduct of monetary policy," and its board has chosen Xbox CEO Asha Sharma to help guide one task force pertaining to AI, as part of a wider effort to help create jobs and keep prices stable. The new Productivity and Jobs task force will look into the "economic impact of new general-purpose technologies," including AI, to help the Fed make better policy decisions. Sharma is joined on this task force by billionaire businessman and venture capitalist Marc Andreessen, along with Stanford University economics professor Charles I. A new Resident Evil game is in development, and it'll be putting a strategy twist on the franchise. In production at JoyCity Corporation, the mobile game is being developed in close collaboration with Capcom, and it's titled Resident Evil Survival Unit. Announced at Anime Expo, the full reveal for the iOS and Android game will be held on July 10 at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET.

JoyCity Corporation says that it's aiming to appeal to both longtime fans and new players to the franchise, and it has reimagined the survival-horror aspects of Resident Evil into a real-time strategy experience optimized for mobile devices.

Beyond this new venture into mobile gaming, the Resident Evil series will also return next year with a new entry in the mainline series on PC and console. Resident Evil Requiem was revealed last month, and the game features a new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft.
