It is a campaign-only experience. Why is that? Executive producer Damon Conn addressed this in a post on Xbox Wire . "Focusing on the campaign experience means we can concentrate fully on really capturing the atmosphere, tone--the emotional impact of what made the first campaign so special and iconic," Conn said. While there is no multiplayer in the new Halo: Campaign Evolved, the game delivers some extras that weren't in the original 2001 release, including three new prequel missions and the ability to sprint. A new Resident Evil game is in development, and it'll be putting a strategy twist on the franchise. In production at JoyCity Corporation, the mobile game is being developed in close collaboration with Capcom, and it's titled Resident Evil Survival Unit. Announced at Anime Expo, the full reveal for the iOS and Android game will be held on July 10 at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET.

JoyCity Corporation says that it's aiming to appeal to both longtime fans and new players to the franchise, and it has reimagined the survival-horror aspects of Resident Evil into a real-time strategy experience optimized for mobile devices.

Beyond this new venture into mobile gaming, the Resident Evil series will also return next year with a new entry in the mainline series on PC and console. Resident Evil Requiem was revealed last month, and the game features a new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft.
